1. Who We Are
SmishGuard ("we", "us") is a registered threat intelligence enterprise providing OSINT investigation and threat monitoring services from smishguard.bond. Contact: help@smishguard.bond.
2. Information We Collect
Intake and engagement data. When you contact us or submit an intake form, we receive the information you provide: your name or alias, email address, the details of the threat, and case-related identifiers (usernames, platforms, timelines). Our intake forms never accept and our methodology never requires explicit images.
Case work product. During an engagement we generate evidence captures, logs, and analysis, all covered by the engagement agreement's confidentiality terms.
3. Visitor Demonstration Panel โ Full Disclosure
This website includes a retractable panel (bottom-left shield icon) that demonstrates what any website can learn about its visitors. When you expand it, your own browser: (a) fetches your public IP address from api.ipify.org, and (b) requests approximate geolocation for that IP from ipapi.co. The result is displayed only on your own screen โ it is not transmitted to us, not logged by us, and not associated with any profile. Other panel fields (browser, OS, screen, timezone) are read locally by your browser and likewise never sent anywhere. Both third-party services process the request under their own privacy policies.
4. Forms & Email
Our contact and intake forms are serverless: submitting one opens your own email client with the content pre-addressed to help@smishguard.bond. Nothing is stored on any web server โ the message exists only in your email provider and ours once you press send.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google Fonts โ loads the Orbitron, Inter, and JetBrains Mono typefaces; Google receives standard request data (IP, user agent).
- api.ipify.org / ipapi.co โ only when you expand the visitor panel, as described above.
- We run no advertising pixels, no analytics trackers, and no tracking cookies.
6. How We Use Information
To assess and respond to your inquiry, perform engaged services, meet legal obligations, and โ where you ask us to โ remember your preferences. That's the entire list. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share client information with marketers, data brokers, or any third party for their own purposes.
7. Disclosure Only When Legally Compelled
We disclose client information only with your express written instruction or where required by valid legal process (subpoena, court order). Where law permits, we will notify you of such a demand before complying.
8. Retention & Deletion
Correspondence is retained while a matter is active and for the period required by prudent professional practice or law. You may request deletion of your intake data at any time by emailing help@smishguard.bond; we will confirm in writing, except where retention is legally required.
9. Security
Encrypted intake channels, access limited to the specialist assigned to the matter, and minimal data collection by design. No system is perfect, which is one more reason we collect as little as possible.
10. Minors
Cases involving minors are accepted from the minor's parent or legal guardian and handled with heightened care consistent with applicable law and NCMEC reporting guidance. If we learn content involving a minor has been created or distributed, we will guide the reporting pathway and cooperate with authorities as required.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold, and to object to certain processing. Exercise any of them by emailing help@smishguard.bond. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.
